So recently for aqara devices, in zigbeemqtt, they split up temperature in device temperature and climate temperature. That’s fine. All devices that used to have an entity called temperature are now called ‘device temperature’.
But i don’t see them in the auto populated dashboard anymore and i’m pretty sure i had them in there. I have all other temperature entities in there but not those anymore. I’ve restarted a few times since then, but they still don’t show up in the lovelace dashboard.
Maybe this changed recently as well, or maybe it was never there to begin with. Regardless, i understand how it works now. I can see in my philips hue outdoor motion sensor it’s qualified as a regular sensor (maybe because it’s considered climate temperature rather then device).
I recently integrated a Nous A1Z power socket with zigbee2mqtt to HA.
I’m pretty sure after the initial pairing I had several cards for control elements, diagnostics and configuration on the auto generated dashboard.
After upgrading the socket’s firmware via OTA these cards disappeared from the generated dashboard.
I followed the advice above to add them again to auto generated dashboard without success.
After chossing “Add to dashboard” I get a popup to choose the dashboard. When I choose “default” I receive a message “no config found” but I’m able to proceed to the next step.
On the next screen a suggestion for a card is available. The only option I can choose is “Abbrechen (cancel)”; neither option “wähle eine andere Karte (choose another card)” nor “Zum Dashboard hinzufügen (add to dashboard)” triggers any other action.
What do I miss here to get these entities added to auto generated dashboad?
Thx for any help
Yes! After the update I recognized that most of the entities became inactive and invisible.
I re-activated some of them but it was still impossible to add them to the generated dashboard.
So I tried to activate all entities of the same category, but still no luck.
It’s only possible to add those entities to a custom dashboard.
Running into the same issue. Not nice. Switched from zha 2 z2m and now I’m missing those power metrics on my standard dashboard. But therefore I’ve got a lots of rather useless entities
Maybe you could use a custom script (called quirk for zha) where the power metrics is a sensor and not a diagnostic type
I also have the same problem, as I’m not able to add diagnostic sensors (power from zigbee2mqtt) to the auto generated dashboard (no config found error). Did anyone find a solution to this?
