Where are the dashboard yaml files stored?

Uhm… I do have a HA backup (plenty actually), so that’s not an issue. The issue is that dashboards are stored as json, so it’s not possible to select and copy a section of yaml from the backup and paste it into production system.

What liquid is saying, is take your JSON that you found and use a JSON to YAML converter and copy what you want from that converted YAML and JSON are interchangeable.

The files are stored in .storage named lovelace.<dashboard_name>. Copy that JSON to a JSON to YAML converter, then copy/paste each card you want.
