Apparently I need to look at the Home Assistant Log Files and/or Linux syslogs when it crashes, but before I reboot it.
I have Disk Internals Linux Reader, but no idea where they are.
It’s in the config\ directory (same directory as your configuration.yaml). home-assistant.log
That’s the only one?
I thought there were more.
In previous posts people say I should look at the ‘log files’ (plural).
I think I found where the linux system log should be (var/log) but that folder appears to be empty
Depending on which version of HA you run, you likely also have a supervisor log. I’ve never tried to look at that other than from within the HA GUI so not sure where it’s saved, somewhere in the Supervisor Docker container…
