I set up HA about a week ago, and I cannot find the solution to this puzzle anywhere. During the onboarding process, I answered questions such as my Latitude and Longitude and the password to my Synology server, etc. I have yet to figure out where all that data went. I know I could just add fields for these values to the yaml files if I want to change them, but it is bugging me that I cannot figure out where that original data is being kept. It doesn’t seem to be stored in any of the yaml files I can find. Nor does it seem to be anything in the configuration or settings for any of the integrations. What am I missing?
it is in the hidden .storage folder.
Some of that can be edited from the GUI, under Configuration -> General for instance.
The Synology details are stored in the integration - see Configuration -> Integrations -> Synology.
The only option I see for Synology is minutes between scans.
Thanks, I had assumed it was hidden, but there isn’t a lot of (or any) documentation on how to view or edit. Surely there must be some way to modify my Latitude, elevation, or Synology password without reinstalling everything and being certain of my answers in advance?
OK, I realized that following the Optional onboarding step of editing the Yaml config file broke the Configuration - > General capability. Removing that edit from the config file restored that capability, so I know how to edit the latitude and longitude, now. Now I just have to figure out where my Synology Password is.
Then you to remove the integration and set it up again. Some support reconfiguring without that, many don’t.
