Hello!
Another noob question. Is it necessary to update integrations? And where can I find a list of the installed integrations including its version?
Thank you very much!
Hello!
Another noob question. Is it necessary to update integrations? And where can I find a list of the installed integrations including its version?

Core integrations?
No.
Updates are released with Home Assistant updates. If you have the latest home assistant version, you have the latest (released) integration versions.
Custom Integrations?
Yes.
Look in HACs, or check the developers github repository.
Ah perfect thank you very much!
I think the answer is not a solution. For example one of integrations I have is on github at version 2.3, yet the one I have installed is 1.8 and it is not updated automatically. What to do now? uninstall / install?
How is this not the solution, it is exactly what you did:
The question was how to check, not how to update. For that:
If using HACS you can use the update feature, if not then follow the github instructions.
well, i disagree… This is not an answer…
If you want to see what version you have currently installed on a 3rd party integration, -where do you go?
Coming back to this: Where can one see which version of an integration (regular or HACS) one has currently installed? I cannot find this…
Thank you in advance for helping!
Look in the 3rd party integration’s page in hacs. The version number is listed there, at the top left of the page.
