Where to tell Whisper which mic to use?

Or does it just use the default Pulse Audio source?

Can record audio file in HAOS ok with parecord and mic shows up in HA/Settings/Hardware. so feel I’m exposing the mic fine to HA.

Whisper running without errors, Assist and OpenWakeWord configured - but no reaction to the configured wakeword.

Any recommendations to continuing debugging this? Have spent days on it. USB mic, PC running HA in ProxMox.

Whisper works inside the wyoming protocol. It does not need access to the audio input, it gets the audio from the previous step.

Ok, that makes sense. So deep in detail I didn’t take a step back. Totally forgot I installed Wyoming in its own LXC as well.
