At the moment, many balcony all-in-one battery systems are on sale (Anker, Bluetti, Ecoflow, Growatt, Hoymiles, Marstek, Solakon, Zendure, etc.).
Which of these work completely without Internet and cloud? I want to read and control them locally in my garden with Home Assistant, without a cloud API.
I’m looking for a 2–4 kWh battery with 4x PV input, power outlet and also an independent backup power outlet.
Of all the systems you mentioned, only Growatt has an official core integration in HA, and it’s cloud-based.
You might have to check if HACS has custom local integrations for those systems. I’ve seen people mentioning a Hoymiles integration on HACS, but I’m not sure if it’s local or cloud based.
Ahh, too bad I bought my system from Solakon in June (still with Growatt Noah) and had to put in a lot of effort into a stable cloud connection and control strategies for zero-export. And now they launch this with local connectivity, dedicated Home Assistant integration etc etc. I am interested in the first reports on how well it actually works.
