Which hardware for easy setup with HA Yellow and running local?

I am looking for climate sensors (temperature/humidity/CO2) , window sensors, smart plugs and a doorbell with a camera.

I am going to receive Home Assitant Yellow hopefully end of march, but I would like to use christmas presents as an opportunity to get some good stuff beforehand

In my ideal world, I don’t have to do more than plugging in the hardware and check in Home Assistant for new devices and confirm “yeah those are mine” and then I would like to be good to go. I thought, Zigbee hardware should work well because Home Asisstant Yellow has a build-in Zigbee chip. I saw a YT video (German) which sounded pretty much like that with any Silvercrest Zigbee device.
For air quality monitoring, I found Aqara TVOC air quality monitor and I had a look into the integrations page Xiaomi Gateway (Aqara) - Home Assistant where this monitor is not listed (so incompatible?) and I read this which I absolutely want to avoid:

v2 might be less straight forward when it comes to enabling the local API, and might even require you to open up your device in order to do so

Do you have some recommendations where integration in HA is really plug&play - like?

Apart from that, low energy usage is important to me and it should run when there is no internet.

Would Silvercrest window sensors and Nous A1Z Smart Plugs good choices?

I am not into DIY very much (don’t want to build my own sensors or tinker endlessly), I just want to use Home Assistant instead of other Smart Home Software because I want to be able to pick from different manufacturers and it looks like the most used open source software.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience!

Hi, sorry to bump the thread, but I probably made a mistake so nobody answers, can you maybe give me a hint what I asked wrong? Maybe Home Assistant is just not for someone who wants Plug & Play with little tinkering?
