Having the crircuit schema and a proto above the desk is the easy part.
Putting allí that un a nuce box in the wall is another thong.

There was a device mentioned by Paulus in the 2023.2 release video. This is about $3 on aliexpress and works with the new HA Bluetooth proxy:

I just noticed that the Tuya sensors are spamming quite a lot over Zigbee.
They update the distance entity about once a second when someone is in the room.
Anyone alread has problem using a lot of these sensors at home (Zigbee network getting unresponsive / laggy, …)?
Couldn’t find a setting to make them behave more reticent.

Hi I use the same wall ones but I’m not sure where to put them. Do they need to face the detection area. Or how do you know where to put them.

I bought a ceiling mount zigbee version to test as it was on special. If it works well I’ll be ordering a load more. Unfortunately I wont be home to install lit until December.
I’ve installed 11 of the ceiling mounted at home. Running now for 10 months and personally I think they’re pretty good.

Ok, last question, how do you adjust the sensitivity settings if using Zigbee2mqtt?
Here at Exposes. I use it with z2m too. Its a little bit complicated to find the perfect sensitivity. You can adjust also the max distance, but for example if max distance is 7m, the distance that detects micro movement is only 5m aprox. Im not sure of the values.

Hey Juan, I was wondering if the sensor you linked is the same as this except one said tuya and cost the double and mine said it is a Wenzhi.

No idea. The originally recommended one is the 5GHz model.

I bought one of the new Limptec 24G to try.
It was indeed faster than the other 5G I have, but I tried putting it in a room where I have a ceiling fan and no matter the angle I tried I could not stop it from picking up the fan.
I didn’t have that problem with the 5G one.
