Which Xiaomi hub is compatible with home assistant

There are different Xiaomi gateways available in the market, not sure which one is compatible with the hom assistant, can some who used it can guide

There are several Xiaomi Gateways on the market, and if you do not get the right one it is a pain in the butt, sometimes a pain even when you do get the right one. I would like to make a suggestion, instead of using a Xiaomi for a Gateway I would recommend using Deconz gateway. The reason I would recommend this is because once you get the Xiaomi setup, then you have to worry about firmware updates breaking your connection to HA, and this gateway calls home constantly. I used a Xiaomi gateway quiet something ago, I have now switched over to a Deconz gateway. There are two options that you can get:

Doesn’t matter which you use they both work the same, its just a matter of how you want set things up. I think this route will save you a lot of time and frustration, if you are just starting out.

Or you can go the Zigbee2MQTT way with a cheap Zigbee stick.

There is also a new gateway announced, but I have no idea if this will be integrated with Home Assistant
