My HA is running on an Intel NUC. I have purchased Smartwings Zigbee motorized shades so need a dongle. If Sonoff, E or P (what’s the difference)? Something different? SMLIGHT?
Zigbee is new to me. What do I need to know? Thanks.

As long as you get a modern coordinator it’s really not a question of which is best. Some use USB coordinators, others ethernet based ones. I prefer the latter since they are more placement friendly and you no longer are bound to the USB port if you are running your setup virtualized.
More important is how you lay out your zigbee network. Ensure you have enough router devices (generally devices not powered by batteries) and that they are placed in a sensible manner.

@fleskefjes Thank you.
If I go the Sonoff route, what’s the difference between the P and E versions? Does it matter?
