Whisper and Piper on another box

Hi,

Can these two things be installed on another machine? I just thought the Rasp Pi I have running HA probably won’t have enough grunt, and it has no mic or speakers.

I do have a PC next to it connected to the TV though. Can I somehow install Whisper and Piper on another box running Fedora, and HA can use the services running on there over the LAN?

Hi, are you familiar with docker?
You can install those services in docker on another machine on your LAN.

Oh that’d do it, I wonder if they work in Podman, that seems to be preferred on Fedora as its open source.
