I send new Aarlo and Ring videos to iOS notifications and Slack.
Mostly it works just dandy.
The Ring vids I have to download to my RPi first, then send on from there.
Sometimes, the iOS notifications about a new Ring video are missing the video. Yet the Slack post for that same video has it just fine.
I thought it might be a whitelist_external_dirs thing, so I sorted that (eventually - could use a few more examples there…)
This is the URL of the video sent to Slack and iOS notifications:

I know the URL is correct and whitelisted, because I can watch that video in Chrome on my iPhone on cell data (and on my home network).
All the Ring videos post to slack just fine, all the time.
Aarlo vids come through to iOS notifications (and Slack) all ok.
It’s just the Ring videos to iOS that are intermittent.
So, any ideas what I’m missing?
Why do some iOS notifications have the Ring video and some don’t, while Slack has them all?
Nothing obvious in the error logs…
