Hi HA community, I recently built a wyoming satellite and added it to my audio setup in my living room. My audio setup is pretty straightforward. I have 6 speakers attached to an amp, and my TV is also connected to the amp via an optical cable. The satellite is connected via an aux cable. So my setup currently looks like this:
This is all working fine, however, I don’t like the fact that I need to change the channel on my amp from aux to optical when I want to watch TV. This also means that I cannot use my satellite when I’m watching TV.
Now my question is: is there a way to have the TV and the satellite on the same channel so that I can use both at the same time?
As a bonus: I also have a snapcast client running on my satellite so that I can stream music on it. I configured it in such a way that the volume turns down when I say my wakeword. I would like the same to happen with the TV audio.
