Why can't you delete application credentials any more?

I can’t delete application credentials any more. I’m sure I’ve done it before, and every single forum thread I can find just says to go to Application Credentials and delete the ones you don’t want. But there’s no ability to delete them any more. What happened? I’ve seen other mystified users posting similar questions

I’ve managed to work around the problem by creating credentials with a different name and just adding them manually in the Application Credentials section (luckily the integration in question, Google Nest, then asks you which one you want to use). But I still can’t delete the old one.

I’m also having this issue!
I’m trying to delete a credential from withings and I’m unable to do it.
What happened?

Things have changed for 1 step more way :

On top of the credentials list, on the left of the search field, you have to first click on the “selection mode” button. Then the checkboxes and the DELETE button will appear.
