Why is the most basic sensor missing?

The sensor to display installed version and what version is available (preferably it should notice if you are on beta and display that).

I just realized my spouse has gone up with the baby and she brought the android tablet instead of her phone.
Apparently the tablet is not up to date so I can’t wake her up with the TTS message.

Anyways that is when I noticed I would want to see what version the tablet is on.
I assume you can’t force update from HA can you :wink:

You can use the github sensor to get the latest release URL that contains the latest version.

If you want the app to report the current installed version as a sensor you should consider opening a feature request.
