I’ve seen post after post after post of new users, was there some big marketing campaign recently? I would understand after Christmas when people got something for a gift, but it’s been a deluge of new users these past few days.
Christmas lighting… it draws them in and they get hooked.

There’s a slight uptick in recent months (not inconsistent with past fluctuations) but on the whole it is following a fairly linear trend:

I suppose it looks pretty normal but it feels like 75% of the new questions are first time posts so I figured there was something influencing that.
New forum user signups have been pretty constant.
