Hey guys,
Wondering if the community can help me here! I have a case where I need a dimmable socket which is ideally based on MQTT / Wi-Fi. It’s for a halogen bulb which heats a platform on my terranium, so not something I can swap out with an LED bulb.
Today, I am controlling it with 433Mhz sockets, but with one-way comms and Telldus Live having frequent outages I want to look at other solutions. I searched around but could not find anything that suited! Wondered if anyone has seen anything? I would rather not go LightwaveRF if I can help it as the cost is too great just for that one component, when I am switching to sonoff elsewhere.
I did see there is a couple of self build solutions out there, but struggled finding anything in retail. Any tips would be appreciated! By the way it’s UK / 230V power I am working with.
