Wiener Luft – Official air quality and weather data from Vienna’s monitoring network

Hi everyone,

I'd like to share a custom Home Assistant integration I've been working on:

The integration is primarily intended for Home Assistant users in Vienna and Austria, bringing official measurements from Vienna's Wiener Luftmessnetz directly into Home Assistant. All data comes from the City of Vienna's monitoring stations and is published as Open Government Data.

Every 30 minutes, the integration imports around 100 current measurements from 18 monitoring stations, stores them in Home Assistant, and makes both current values and historical trends available.

Supported measurements include PM10, PM2.5, NO₂, NOₓ, O₃, SO₂ and CO, as well as temperature, humidity, wind speed and wind direction.

You can select only the monitoring stations and measurement types you are interested in during setup. The integration then creates one Home Assistant device per monitoring station, including location information. The individual measurements are native Home Assistant entities with proper device classes, state classes, units and long-term statistics support.

The integration is currently under active development. I'd especially appreciate feedback on the overall architecture, entity model, configuration flow and user experience before submitting it to HACS.

Suggestions, bug reports and feature requests are very welcome.
