WiFi Camera recommendations needed

I have Amcrest PoE cameras for all but one location where I didn’t want to have to bury a line in the back yard. The WiFi camera I want to replace is a Reolink E1. It’s filling my log with messages:

None of my Amcrest cameras do this. I got rid of my other Reolink cameras for the same reason. If you’re happy just using Reolink’s DVR, they’re fine. They just just don’t work well (for me) with HA.

I saw an Amcrest WiFi cam on Amazon that looked good until I read the reviews that said it could only be configured with a phone app. I want the camera to be configured locally with just a web browser like my other Amcrest cams, no phone apps.

If you are using an outdoor WiFi cam with HA, and it doesn’t require an app/cloud to set-up or use, I’d love to hear from you.

Follow-up to my original post above -

I found a WiFi camera that works for me.

It’s an SV3C model C12. It’s 5MP, PTZ with 15X optical zoom in a IP66 metal housing. Works on 2.4 or 5gz WiFi, and can also be connected directly to ethernet (it’s not POE). This camera can be configured using a web browser (or an App, if you prefer).

It has good quality night vision, and smart human tracking. If set to do so, it will track a person, and automatically zoom in on them. It also returns automatically to its preset position after the tracking event is over. I was impressed how well it worked.

This camera has way fewer log error messages and works much better with Home Assistant than my Reolink PTZ cam.

Hope this helps someone!
