Wifi cameras for HA

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to buy outdoor wifi security cameras. Location US, Pennsylvania.
Requirements:

  • wifi connectivity
  • local storage for recordings (including base) or support for Synology Surveillance Station
  • easy HA integration
  • solar powered
  • not dependent on internet connection

I was thinking to buy Eufy but looks like integration with HA is troublesome.
I would greatly appreciate any advice.

For camera’s that work with SynoSurv Station you want to make sure they are optimally ONVIF capable which will let you bring them into other monitoring and security software down the line if you want to move from station in the future.

I use hikvision and hillook camera’s at the moment with my station setup and have one of them connected via a mesh router to use the 5GHz backhaul to save on running another ethernet cable due to being in a unit.

That said have a look at this list for reolink camera’s to see what model fits your needs since that is a popular brand:
