Wifi constantly cutting out, 5GHz?

Hi,

I’ve got a Haier Pearl split a/c, but have been struggling to get the Wifi to work. It connects, but immediately beeps twice and loses connection. I think it could have to do with the Wifi frequency, but I have no access to my router to check. It should have both 2.4 and 5Ghz setup though. Could it be anything else? My setup is a basic router (Zyxel VMG8825-T50 supplied by internet&tv provider) and a Wifi point (Zyxel WAP6807, supplied by the same provider, online.nl).

But if this sounds like anything else, please let me know!

No access to router? Why?

If it see wifi ssid then it can use the frequency.
Does it actually connect and get IP address or does it just prompt for password to wifi then never connect?

Sometimes smart devices dont like some passwords. If possible you can try open (no password) wifi and see if that connect. It sound like you cant login to router so likely you cant set this up to test
