WiFi Power Strip for your HomeLAB with ESPHome

Just a simple config for ESPHome to have a mostly ON powerstrip.

Cool. Can you add here https://esphome-configs.io/

Or I’ll do it for you if that is OK? Credit given of course.

I love this site, I wish many yaml files shared

Esphome is great tool

esphome is definitely great.

I actually looked into doing this yesterday but a “regular” version of this is already there: https://esphome-configs.io/devices/teckin-ss30/

I’m not sure how the original creator of the site wanted to handle mixed configuration of the same hardware. Any ideas?

First I was having an issue although I figured out I was NOT suppose to be using ESPHome to upload. I found a part I was missing (upload the binary) but now I cannot connect to the powerstrip via web, and after a few minutes (maybe 5) it reboots itself. And the blue led is flashing each second.

Another nice project and with home assistant auto discovery is https://github.com/Aircoookie/WLED

ummm yes you do upload the code with esphome. That’s the point…

(There is an alternative method of uploading via another computer, but I have never had the need.)

it would never connect when I tried to upload via ESPHome, gave connection refused but I was able to hit it direct via the ip address and upload via new binary on the SONOS gui. Anyone ever solder up to this power strip?

Sonos GUI??

Whatever this is called

Sonos is something different, that is the sonoff gui.
