WiFi substitute for Shelly 1L

What do people suggest for a very robust tightly integrated with home assistant replacement for the Shelly 1L… it’s basically a relay behind the light switch that has no neutral and it needs to run on Wi-Fi not zigby or z-wave…?

I love esp devices but have the luxury of a mostly dc powered living area.
I might trust esp devices for some ac 120v wiring but in general I dont like the idea of mixing ac and dc in any electrical box.

Some esps claim to do 240v relays and eu power but thats allot of voltage

Thank you for the information about the Seeed Studio device… howevere I would be using 110v AC but noticd it also says it requires a Neutral anyway - ?

I was kind of hoping someone else would give input on that device,

It appears to be powering its logic off of the line voltage but with such a wide voltage claim I almost dont get it.

this would be fun if all the wires run to one place. Id put it in a control box or something.

Maybe dumb relays with low voltage contacts to esp or controller

But yes sometimes they have the neutral sometimes not,
I think technically anything with hot and neutral is a contactor.
Idk if theres anything specific with the neutral that we need to think about or if it matters if the controller uses neutral and hot.
