Wiim/Linkplay with music assistant / speaker not showing up

I need some help, because I just do not see where the problem is…
I got a Wiim Sound Speaker, used the mjcumming HACS integration and the speaker has been added to HA.
HA runs as a docker container and I installed music assistant as a docker and linked it via the music assistant integration. I have HEOS speakers and a Nvidia Shield, which showed up in music assistant as output devices.
Now I read that linkplay/wiim is better integrated in HA and I wanted to switch from HEOS to Wiim. But:

  1. the device does not show up in music assistant. I can stream radio via music player in HA.
  2. When I use TTS in HA music player it works fine with the HEOS device. With the Wiim the music stops, but no Speech is given out. The music resumes after a few seconds (short text).

I tried the native core linkplay integration (did not deinstall the mjcumming though), but this did not help either. From an youtube vidoe about a wiim player I know that the output should just show up in the music assistant. Hence, this seems a bit strange to me…

I don’t know anything about wiim, and the only thing I see in the announcement about it refers to hope of wiim adding sendspin support.

That said, maybe it needs to be added/enabled via MA > settings > providers > home assistant media players ?

If you don’t have home assistant media players, add it via ‘add a provider’

Thank you! That was it - just my config fault. The problem with the TTS persits though.

EDIT: with the linkplay integration the TTS seems to work
