Windows 11 update 22H2 stops Aeotec USB Gen7 stick to be recognised

After installing Windows 11 22H2 update my HA installation lost all z-wave devices. The Z-Wave JS integration showed an error. In the configuration of the Z-Wave JS add-on the USB port (/dev/serial/by-id/usb-Silicon_Labs_CP2102N_USB_to_UART_Bridge_Controller_…-if00-port0) was missing.
Windows and VirtualBox both reported no problems with the USB port.
I am running Windows 11, latest VirtualBox and HA 2022.9.6, Supervisor 2022.09.1, Operating System 9.0.

As I had no clue how to fix this I removed the Windows build which gave me back my z-wave devices. A warning to be careful with Windows upgrades.

Just to echo that I’m having exactly the same issue but then with a Gen5+. A firmware update was the fix.
