Windows Server 2022 Skyconnect

Hi
I am trying to get the Skyconnect “USB Stick” running on my Windows Server 2022.
It is recognized by the device manager with a yellow warning triangle.
I can’t find any driver if I search in the web.
Anybody has a solution for me please.
THX Markus

no one has a solution for me?
Or if not possible on WS2022 itself, any solution to bypass the Skyconnect USB Stick from another supported machine to my Home Assistant server?

Why would anyone want to do such a thing? Can you elaborate a bit more what your use case and setup is?

Typically it’s just plug and play into the HA server (when no windows is involved obviously!).

Also USB passthrough for a virtual machine should be mostly no problem - as long as no hyperV/windows is used!

Hi indeed

my use case is that I am running my virtual machine(s) under Windows Server 2022 and Hyper-V.
Why I am using Windows and Hyper-V? Hmmm, it was for my personal surrounding the best way for running virtual machines. I did get a HPE Server (older one) with huge RAM on board for free :innocent:

But I see and understand, it was not the best decision to run Home Assistant on.
I believe I will start to setup a new installation that might be run under Proxmox.

Regards and THX for the direct and clear feedback.

From my latest knowledge hyper-V is the only hypervisor/VM solution that has flawky USB passthrough.

That or any other solution out there probably “fixes” your problem

You can try installing ESXi, they have a free version. USB passthrough works like a charm.
