Can someone help me with error 500 when trying to re-authorize Wink. For some reason Wink dropped out, I deleted the .wink.conf file (renamed it actually), and attempted to reauthorize it.
I can get to the sign in page on Wink after I edit the initial offering address, I sign in and click go, and then I get
500 Internal Server Error
Server got itself in trouble
and that’s all I get. I have tried a couple of different posts, changed addresses, changed 443 and 8123 ports, changed redirects, and a couple of other fixes, that didn’t fix.
I would really like to share log files, links, offer to open a web link to … really anything. I’m at a loss and have lost control of some major lights for home automation routines.
Also, I’m sure this is something, but I no longer have Amazon TTS either. I still have my cuckoo clock, but none of my people greeting voice prompts fire off.
Please help.
Hmm is the 500 a response from Wink or from HA do you know?
Feel free to send me your logs and I can try to see what’s going on.
How long has this been going on? If it’s a Wink issue could be they are having some issue and it may resolve itself.
What logs would you like sir ? I have read your name in a few of the fixes I tried. Any help from you would be appreciated.
Okay, that makes it seem like a Home Assistant issue. Let me try to authorize mine real quick and see what happens.
Have you tried doing this with an incognito chrome tab?
I was able to successfully authorize mine after deleting the .wink.conf so I don’t think it is on Wink’s end.
I took some screen caps. I see issues, but I don’t know what to do about them.
Then I change the address in the bar to the local address with :8123 port specified.
THEN…
Note it says Certificate Invalid here.
And here… valid. I see issues, just don’t know what to do about them.
Can you drop off the s
in the https at the start of the URL and try to access it? I am assuming you are using duckdns to get ssl not sure if you can access HA without SSL on the local network?
This page isn’t working
192.168.1.102 didn’t send any data.
ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
I have an Ubiquiti edge router x - I have full control of redirects and firewall stuffs.
So I would suggest turning SSL off restart HA try to authorize Wink, and then turn SSL back on and restart again. I think this will allow you to access HA via HTTP on your local network
ok. so disable Lets Encrypt - restart Hassio - try to reload Wink ? I am just trying to work it out properly.
yeah. I think with letsencrypt enabled HA won’t allow HTTP at all which is why you got that EMPTY_RESPONSE error.
trying now with local access.
same exact results. https - 500 error, http - no response
Okay, can you send me your home-assistant.log
apparently much easier said than done. now my samba share doesn’t work anymore. damn.
Could be related to the SSL did you turn that back on?
I am trying to … reading home-assistant.log file - it’s a mess. I feel like destroying this whole instance and starting from scratch is the better option.
Some times that is easiest. Has it been awhile since you upgraded?
Ugh. This is too painful. Now. Starting over… I just don’t think I want to.
Wink 2 module coming to a living room near me I think. What a PIA.
