I just wanted to share my smart bed heater which I shared on Reddit already and I figured maybe people like to take inspiration here as well.
Since I did a little improvement due to Reddit user suggestions here is a small update on how to build the timer into the ESPHome device.

Bonus tip:
Build everything when nobody is noticing. Wait for an evening where your significant other will come home from a cold, rainy day.
