Wireguard using FQDN

Hey there. I’m new to using Wireguard with ESPHome and I am needing to use a FQDN as my public IP Address is DHCP. Well ESPHome Device Builder doesn’t seem to like the FQDN and is erroring on that. I have tried it with https and without. Any ideas as to what I’m doing wrong? According to this Unraid forum post (Wireguard - does it work with FQDN as peer endpoint? - General Support - Unraid) it is possible. Here is the code I am using with things redacted, of course:

wireguard:
address: “https://wireguard.example.com”
private_key: sometinghere=
peer_endpoint: wireguard.example.com
peer_public_key: somethinghere=
netmask: 255.255.255.255
peer_port: 51820
peer_preshared_key: somethinghere=
peer_allowed_ips:
- 0.0.0.0/24
peer_persistent_keepalive: 25s
reboot_timeout: 10min
update_interval: 10s

Thanks in advance!

Sincerely,
