Wireless Tags - Multiple Tag Managers

Hello,

I have implemented the new Wireless Tags integration, but seem to be running into an issue with having multiple tag managers in my account. It only pulls stats from the tags on the last tag manager I accessed from the Wireless Tag web interface.

Has anyone else run into this? I am more than happy to provide more info as needed.

Thanks!

Dan

I also have multiple tag managers and only the currently selected ( found by logging into www.mytaglist.com) tag manager’s associated tags are available. If you change the selected tag manager you will have to restart homeassistant to observe status on the other tags.
I would love to see a resolution to this.

I opened an issue on GitHub for the underlying wirelesstag.py package. The package itself did not support multiple tag managers. I worked with the developer and he was able to upgrade the package to support multiple managers. Now, I do not know how that will need to be worked into the component as I have not had time to look into it. But, I will probably give it a look and raise and issue for it over the weeekend.

Hello @dancwilliams did you in the end get all the managers to work in the end? In a similar situation and debating if I should get a new manager as one clearly doesn’t cover the place… So wanted to check…

Thanks a lot in advance

Please help me get these things working. I am very new to HA. I have my auth code, but I’m stuck there. I have one manager, and 5 tags.

What do I put in the config file to get this working?

I am presently having an issue with multiple tag managers. HA recognizes devices from 3 different tag managers, but sensors from two of them are indicated as “unavailable”. Looking at the integration code, it sure looks (to my naive eye) as if each sensor is associated with its own tag-manager mac address.
