Hi all,
I have an Alasta smart bathroom mirror with a small weather-station display (clock, weather, indoor temperature and humidity). It’s controlled with the WiseMirror app, which is also used by other brands like BYECOLD and GS Mirror. I wanted it in Home Assistant, so I reverse-engineered the protocol and built a custom integration.
It’s fully local: no cloud and no account. HA talks to the mirror over UDP on your LAN.
What you get
- Automatic discovery, or add the mirror by IP
- Indoor temperature and humidity sensors
- Display brightness (0–100, including levels dimmer than the app allows) and night mode with schedule
- Clock format, date order, temperature unit, two-day forecast, weather source
- Weather location that can follow your HA home location
- Connectivity sensor, and automatic recovery if the mirror’s IP changes
Install
Or manually: HACS → Custom repositories → https://github.com/jorgediez/ha-wisemirror (Integration)
Requirements: the mirror must already be on your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (one-time setup with the WiseMirror app), and on the same network segment as HA.
Compatibility: I’ve only tested it on my Alasta (model 2M09). If your mirror uses the WiseMirror app, it very likely works. Please open a compatibility report either way, since partial results help too.
Feedback and PRs welcome!
