I’ve got the Withings integration installed and working for my sleep mat. It correctly creates entities for “in bed”, “deep sleep”, and “weight”, but not for 17 others, e.g heart rate, REM sleep, sleep score, and others. These values do appear in the Withings app, so I feel like they should also be picked up by the HA integration. Do any of you have these entities populated, or is this just how the integration works?
Yep Same here
For some reason, the Withings integration has these entities “disabled” by default. You need to enable them manually by clicking on the “settings” icon for a given entity and then clicking on the “Enabled” button.
How did you get the “in bed” entity? I can’t find it…
Oh, and… the weight too?
What sensor do you have?
I have the same issue; the sensor doesn´t show up for me.
It’s been quite a while and I actually don’t remember now. But maybe this was it: go to “Settings” → “Integrations” → “Withings”, and then click on the “device” shown. You’ll see the list of sensors. If a sensor is marked “disabled” you can enable it manually there.
Doesn’t show up in mine…
I got this device mainly for that use case…
Any luck on in_bed sensor? It’s the only one that doesn’t show up after setting up. Even after a few days.
in-bed sensor is event-driven. You have go to a bed to set in-bed state. until that its state is unknown (the same after each HA restart)
btw it’s not third party integration. It’s core built-in one
Is it possible to add 2 Withings Sleep Analyzers but from different Withings accounts?
Cause my girlfriend and I do have own accounts, so that it will sync to the correct Apple Health acocunt.
Yes that’s how I set mine up. The withings integration supports multiple instances.
You have to do the steps start to finish twice. Once with each account… Developer setup and all of it.
I have set up the first one completely now. But when I now click on Add Withings integration again, I immediately get redirected to the developer portal. So I am not able to enter new client ID / secret. Or how should I do that?
When you get redirected, sign out. Then immediately sign in with the other account and finish the auth.
(you’ll need both sets of creds handy)
It gets fun when you have to reauth. Fortunately that doesn’t happen very often anymore.
I am still unsure if even my first Withings Sleep was detected successfully, cause I can’t find the device anywhere and also not the in_bed:
How to check if Withings Sleep was detected?
Are Webhooks needed for that Withings integration?
Yes and they should setup automatically as part of integration setup. No we hook. No mat reports.
Do you know where I can check, if the webhooks have been set up correctly? I think I did see a warning, that it failed cause port 443 was not available. Maybe cause I run HA as container on a Synology DS281+?
