I am guessing that there is no way to tell what direction the pet is travelling in upon detection? I would love to know whether the dogs are inside or outside the dog door.
Did you manage to solve it? I think that two devices can be used (e.g. the first reading is inside the house, the second reading is outside), which suggests that the animal has gone out.
