I created this method, which let you integrate unsupported WLED controllers below v0.14.0 in latest Home Assistant versions.

It just doesn’t sync properly for me. When I turn off the wled via the wled app, it still shows that my home assistant is switched on.
Glad it worked for you. As i mentioned in the github repository, this is a one way communication, which uses http rest commands. Thats why it doesn’t sync when using the wled app.
But the point is to use HA only, this way it works fine.
I might do some advanced options for this method soon, to maximize its potential.

I was looking into it further, i think i can make it work 2 ways by using http polling, which i can set in HA to poll the state from the controller every x time. This might work, i will try it out and update the github repo if it worked reliably.

Thank you very much for your work. Unfortunately, only 13.3 runs really well on my D1 mini boards. From 14.0 onwards everything is very slow and unfortunately no fun. Thanks to you, I can now use it as usual again. Merry Christmas
