Hi All,
I have a number of WLED instances connected to home assistant. 5 to be specific.
I have added 2 more instances in the WLED app and everything works OK.
However, when I try to add these 2 new instances in home assistant, I immediately get the aborted message as below.
Anyone have any ideas?. I have seen some other threads indicating a previously used MAC address in HA but i could not find them in the config/device or entity registries.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I had this happen when I removed a WLED integration and then tried to add it back (same D1mini with a new string of LEDs after a failure of the original string). I had to manually edit the core config entries file to remove the entry with the same IP address and then I could successfully add the integration again.
It seems to me that removing the integration should have removed that entry in the core config file, but it didn’t.
Thanks for your reply. For some reason they have now just appeared in the new devices section based showing only their mac addresses instead of usual ip addresses.
