I use the following workaround found on this webpage. Works for Chrome only.
Plays back audio on rtsp streams no problem.
So far I have this running
What I did for this workaround is register at their dashboard and add a few cams. You can add 10 cams free.
Then add the cams in Lovelace with
type: iframe
url: >-
COMPLETE_URL_COPIED_FROM_DASHBOARD
aspect_ratio: 100%
To make your cams autoplay add &autoplay=“on” to the URL
This was to test if the rtsp player works properly. in my experience flawless. Audio and even fullscreen per cam.
