The binary sensor currently returns true or false. It would be awesome if it could also include an attribute ‘holiday’ with the name of the holiday, if any, or ‘unknown’ or empty when not. This attribute could then be extracted with a template sensor for display purposes in the front end, for notifications and automation.
How can I adress the name of the holiday? I cant see it in the attributes.
This is kind of related to what I did here. I could integrate this with workday I guess. Next holiday sensor

Unfortunately webcal.fi has moved on and became commercial webcal.guru. It’s now a lot harder to get the data with their free tier. I still need to figure it out.
