Working Yeelight now unavaliable

Hi all,

Strange one here. I have had a bunch of Yeelights working flawlessly for a few years now. The one in my office was not bright enough, so I bought a 2nd gen bulb which is far better. All my bulbs have static IP’s, so I switched the mac address of the new bulb in to the config in my router so I is on the same IP as the old office bulb.

All worked fine, new bulb in and picked up by HA just fine, as far as HA was concerned nothing had changed. Bulb worked fine for a week, and then poof its Unavailable. Rebooting the bulb doesn’t work, rebooting HA doesn’t work. I have updated the firmware on the bulb to the latest version, still nothing.

The bulb works fine in the Yeelight app, has LAN control set and is on the same IP as the config in HA.

The error in the HA log is:

First occurred: 8:37:45 (3 occurrences)

My other 4 first gen bulbs are all working fine still.

Anyone have any ideas?

Same here, all my yeelight was working good and all of a sudden everything just stopped working. with the exact same error

Hey @kavierkoo

Got my bulb working again, I gave it a new IP in my router and my config file and it popped back to life, might be worth a shot.

I had the same problem, rebooting my router did the job

Tried… no luck :frowning:

Had the same with my desklamp pro. It stopped working in HA and HomeKit at the same time, so I guess it’s an issue with the Yeelights themselves. Resetting the lamp worked for me.
