This is not to do with the Landroid Package but as I have a ready made audience of friendly Landroid users can I ask you a question?
We are about to get one but cannot decide on the Small or the Medium. The small is plenty big enough for our garden but we wonder if we will miss not having the ‘cut to edge’ feature of the Medium?
Nowhere can we find a definitive answer to the question:
“How close do the different models actually cut to the edge?”
Our lawn is bordered almost entirely by flower beds that have a drop off so the wheel must stay on the lawn.
Thanks for any answers.
(And of course once we have our Landroid I will be using this package! )
Hi, really amazing card. I like it.
However I get in logfile from HA follwoing error:
Logger: homeassistant.components.sensor
Source: helpers/entity_platform.py:567
Integration: Sensor (documentation, issues)
First occurred: 07:18:54 (3 occurrences)
Last logged: 07:18:54
Entity id already exists - ignoring: sensor.landroid_mower_battery
Entity id already exists - ignoring: sensor.landroid_mower_error
Entity id already exists - ignoring: sensor.landroid_mower_status
Any glue why this happens?
Regards
Michael
Hi everyone!
Does anybody know how much mowing time the landroid is supposed to perform when the “start” command from hassio is sent?
Is there a way to tune it?
Thanks a lot!
Regards,
Alessandro
Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to make this work with a Kress mower? Since Kress is just the more expensive version of Landroid, this should probably work. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thank you!
The integration just have been updated to support Kress as I saw from the release notes. The package uses a generic name for the mower, so unless that is different then you need to update create a customised package, but if the mower has the same name in HA what the package needs then it should be the same to use.
It would mow the same amount as you would press the start button in the app. You can adjust it with an Automation. Set how much time you want it to mow and send a go to home command then.
I have the same issue.
Entity id already exists - ignoring: sensor.landroid_mower_battery
Entity id already exists - ignoring: sensor.landroid_mower_error
Entity id already exists - ignoring: sensor.landroid_mower_status
Any idea to fix this? Should we create an issue?
Hey guys, check the record
landroid_cloud:
It should appear only once in the landroid.yaml
or in the configuration.yaml
My bad, of course. Thank you very much !
Thanks, I was not aware about that. Works fine now without errors.
Hi,
the Landroid_Cloud was installed via the HACS store.
I created the Landroid.yaml file in the packages folder. With the mentioned entries.
Unfortunately I get the following error:
Landroid_cloud takes longer than 300 seconds to set up. The start-up process continues without further waiting
What am I doing wrong?
Probably nothing. If it was the first start of the Landroid custom component then it takes some time to get it ready. Try to restart HA to see that it loads and before that look for the landroid entities created by the component and any error message in the log with landroid.
Otherwise the error means what it says. The start of the component took longer than 300 seconds, so HA is not waiting anymore for that to start and it carries on with the starting process. If the component starts later then it will start, if not then it will fail at some point with an error message. In the Configuration / Info menu point you can see the list of loaded components and how long they took to start (if started).
I hope it helps!
Hey, thanks for your answer!
I cannot see the landroid_cloud in the info menu. Also, I can’t find the entities for my Landroid.
The component does not seem to start. I restarted Home Assistant several times.
nothing happens…
It should be called Worx Landroid Cloud landroid_cloud, and the entities should be sensor.landroid_nameofthemower_status
or similar.
Try to look at the log of HA you might going to see the reason why it is not starting.
here is an excerpt from my log file:

Look at this issue on GitHub and try to enable debug logging as explained:
Then hopefully you will see what is the real issue behind it.
Exists the record in the configuration.yaml
landroid_cloud:
- email: [email protected]
password: YourPassword
or in the landroid.yaml
landroid_cloud:
email: !secret landroid_mail
password: !secret landroid_pass
It should exists and only once in the landroid.yaml
or in the configuration.yaml
thanks guys for your replys.
I have found the problem, my firewall has blocked the TCP Port 8883. After i allowd this port for HA the landroid_Cloud works fine
Hello, thank you so much for this intergration, it works super nice.
1 issue tho. if my landroid gets stuck i often do not get a update before landroid shuts off and i can’t see it errored on the intergration. Is there a way to change how often you pull the data from the landroid?
Reason im using it this way is im traveling alot so i have a tablet in the house so my fiance can see that the landroid is stuck somewhere (oure garden sucks )
Kind regards
