I was on amazon and stumbled across this little PC. I wonder, would this be a viable option for home assistant? Would you be able to use the camera that is built in?
You should be able to install on that. Not sure about the camera - depends on how it’s supported. But to what end? A $35 Raspberry Pi works great.
Yea, im on a Pi now, just saw this and was intrigued by the form factor and the camera built in.
It is a neat form factor, though I don’t know if it would be worth going from Linux/Pi to Windows.
Might be better to install CentOS or another distribution on it but for stability and avoid SD card corruption, it could be a good option.
Also speed could be improved.
But to move from the Pi it’s maybe better to directly move to a home-server, like a HP ProLiant Gen8 that can be found around 200-250€.
