Wrong release found installed after upgrade

Hello,

I’ve an installation on RPi3 with Raspbian Stretch; after the last upgrade to 0.93.2 I found that the info page shows instead release 0.94.0.dev0. I’ve never used developer releases.

I tried to downgrade to 0.93.1 and the procedure says that’s all right but the info page always shows 0.94.0.dev0.

The main trouble is that the MAX! EQ3 thermostat devices do not work anymore with HA and the current temperature always report a wrong value.

How can I reinstall a working release ?

Thank you for your help.

This sort of problem is normally caused by not starting the virtual environment before updating, and then running a different binary to the one you thought you installed. Try running

$ pgrep -a hass

To see exactly which binary you are running

You are right ! Thank you.
