WTH - add keyboard shortcut to show all possible hotkeys

I read in the latest HASS beta release notes that additional hotkeys are being added e.g. ‘a’ to open the assistant, however I had no idea there are already an ‘e’ and ‘a’ hotkey.

It would be nice if a hotkey (ideally ‘?’) was implemented that brought up a list of all possible hotkeys from within HASS. That’s pretty common to have in webapps and would improve discoverability of these relatively hidden hotkeys.

Also would be helpful when people inevitably forget what the hotkey is, but do remember a hotkey exists - they can just use ? to bring up a list.

See this an example from this very forum. Pressing ? (shift + /) brings up this

I want to add that it should be a single key. ctrl+/ is not typeable in German keyboards and I’m sure that other “common” ones aren’t typeable in various layouts.

I’d suggest h or F1

In that instance it should be both. No one who is used to using the ? key will think to try h. It doesn’t work (i.e. bring up a list of hotkeys) on any webapp I know of

It should just be ?, however that is written in German keyboard layout.

Hi!
We’ll be introducing such a screen that summarizes all of HA shortcuts, and hopefully expanding it with useful ones in the future.
If you have any suggestions for new ones, please give some suggestions

I think step 1 should be a documentation page that explains or even acknowledges the existence of shortcuts! If I type shortcuts in the search bar of the HA documentation I don’t get anything useful. This page right here is the only documentation of shortcuts I can find. I DID find a “HOTKEY” page but it doesn’t seem to refer to the same thing. Actually none of these hotkeys seem to work except for “m” and “a”, neither the Hotkeys nor the Shortcuts, and I did turn on Enable Shortcuts in the profile.
