It would be nice to be able to choose in which section a template sensor should show when linked to a device; Sensors or Diagnostic. Currently it’s in Sensors by default.
- When creating a template in the UI, a simple checkbox ( Diagnostic ) would be nice.
- When in yaml (although I’m not sure if you could actually link a yaml-template to a device currently) it could work the same way as for a MQTT sensor:
