I’m curious why complications for the Apple Watch aren’t available for all watch faces and models. For example, I have an Ultra 2 and can’t access any complications for my modular (modular ultra) watch face. It seems like complications are only available for the standard watch face.
They exist, they’re just almost impossible to figure out. Some kind of visual reference as to which complications work with which faces should be provided. There’s also a song and dance that you have to do along with tapping your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time in order to get the complications to sync with the watch for the first time.
I also have an Ultra 2. I was able to create a “Circular” complication under “Graphic”, and it’s an available for the “top right” complication on the Modular Ultra face. But it didn’t show up on the watch until I’d installed the HA app and refreshed the config from it. I may have had to to manually “Update Complications” in the iOS app before it became usable.
This is incredible! I just worked with the circular, and have you noticed any other ‘beneficial’ mistakes in the current implementation? This was a game-changer! I’ve had the placeholder in the top right for a while, so it was a lucky fit. Thanks a bunch! I hope the iOS DEV sees this!
That’s the only one I’ve used so far. But it does work well for me!
