WTH are badges only on top?

I’d love to have the badges (the ones on top of a lovelace page) to be positioned on the bottom (for me).
But, frankly, why not on the left, or on the right also?

For all of them at once, no need to do it per badge IMO.

And what about an option to make them always visible, even when the page is scrolled?

That’s why it is a WTH.
Because badges did not evolve since 0.65 at least (my first HA version)
This was even before Lovelace as the default UI.
It would be great to think about those badges.

I’d like them overlaid on a panel view (but not so much that I feel the need to have card-mod).

How do you animate the icon of badges?

I mean, the badges changed in 2024.8 sooooo
We might answer you one of these days when a card-mod selector for badges is defined for the new style

You can do it by using manual template and then use the chip option
