Why could badges only individualy configured in yaml mode? In lovelace you can’t switch to code view within badges to enter an alternative name as an expample.
And as stated in another WTH - more customization like threshold colors would be fantastic (i am aware that there is a hacs custom integration too).

You can currently add them.
Then switch to raw to add extra attributes and save, then switch back to normal edit.
Definitely need to add the ability to adjust the extra attributes in the UI. But for the time being you can do this.
