The Climate component has HVAC_modes, can there be SWITCH_modes like “manual” and “auto” for switches?
To illustrate the use, the Plugwise Plugs support on/off scheduling, set-able via the Plugwise App.
It would be nice to be able to switch the schedule on and off via HA Core, similar to what is possible for the Climate Entities.
And a next step would be the possibility to set/change the schedule from within HA Core
