Call me old-fashioned but I like to keep my repairs, just like my logs, clean and empty. Some repairs only give a possibility to ignore it instead of acknowledge and delete it. For example this Tado one which was added a whole ago:
Tado Water Heater entities now support fallback options
Warning ⸱ Reported by Tado
Due to added support for water heaters entities, these entities may use different overlay. Please configure integration entity and tado app water heater zone overlay options. Otherwise, please configure the integration entity and Tado app water heater zone overlay options (under Settings → Rooms & Devices → Hot Water).
I had a 3 months old repair message I had ignored, because I wanted to try and correct the device related to it.
I then decided to not correct the device and tried to remove the entities related to the repair message.
I was unable to see if I got it repaired, because the repair message stayed and with same date 3 months ago.
Being able to delete the message would mean it could reappear again, so you would know it was current.
When I finally got some of the entities fully repaired the message actually updated the list of the entities, but not the actual date, which made it even more confusing.
A solution to my issue could also be an extra date, so you had one for first seen and one for last updated.
