WTH can’t I set Home zone location dynamically from the home zone and not have to create an automation. Simply select the option for dynamic and the entity to use.
Would be nice to see as we RV full time. Currently using node red to get info from my pepwave router. But for new users this is not always easy.

This was actually mentioned by Paulus in the latest release party livestream as an example of Home Assistant settings that you could change runtime (most can not). It was indeed added to support boat/RV usage.
However I only heard it being mentioned in the livestream, I don’t have any practical experience with it so unfortunately don’t know how to do it in practice.

Exactly, Michel, I set up Home Assistant for RVs and surprisingly, a lot of food truck owners liked the idea of automation since it helps them automate their signs and exterior lights. In two cases with food trucks, they liked the idea where hitting a button in Home Assistant, Will post their current location.

Would be also nice if we can get some more granular control how the GPS location is updated (like interval, average). Maybe even have a state like moving (speed?) and static.
And would be even cooler to have stats like speed, distance traveled and maybe maps with routes… Or am I overthinking this…
